Well, the name says it all. This year, like the past, we will have multiple chili creations provided by our amazing food trucks. In addition to that, we’ll be tapping a ton of beer and cider (stay tuned for that list) and hosting live music Thursday through Sunday.
Keep checking in for all of the details.
In Munich, Oktoberfest runs from September 21 through October 6th. In honor of this tradition, Beergarden’s Oktoberfest Celebration runs the same dates. We may not know the ins and outs of all the German traditions, but we do know German beer.
Each day will feature a different brewery, host festive activities and live music. All 5 of our food trucks will be featuring German-inspired dishes. It will be over 2 weeks of jam-packed festivities.
Endearingly labeled as “Pearl Jam meets Bette Midler”, husband and wife members Jessi and Jared have been tearing up stages and crowds nationwide since 2005 with their unique upbeat, roller coaster style shows- firing off gypsy-punk rock songs alongside everything from intimate tear-jerkers to anthemic foot-stompers. With seven albums of original material to their credit and playing an average of 170 shows a year, this duo is one of the rare original acts in the PNW that performs with stadium-level energy. We are so looking forward to having Champagne Sunday to our stage for their first time.
Every show is different, and that’s why we love having this group perform. It’s always a bit of that wonderful bluegrass twang, and it’s always acoustic… members from local bands getting together to tear up the stage.
Anya Lecuyer has a voice you’ll remember! We welcome her and her friends back to the beergarden stage for a night of Rock, R & B and Blues. She will be joined by Gerry Rempel, Skip Jones Rick Cobian and Val Cobian.
Lloyd L. Tolbert has played harmonica for over 40 years and is a fixture in Eugene’s local blues scene. He is currently fronting The Lloyd L. Tolbert Band. Regular band members include: RJ Herb, Rick Markstrom and Michael Hatgis.
We look forward to having this excellent group to our stage again.
Based out of Bend, Oregon, Spencer Snyder sets the bar for creating powerful, original music live. 27 year old Snyder loops together multiple instruments to create moody, driven backdrops accompanied by smooth vocals. Hip-Hop style drums drive funk-inspired bass followed by electrifying sounds from his keyboard and guitar.
We are very excited to have Spencer to the beergarden stage.
Breakers Yard is the Willamette Valley’s most eclectic acoustic band. Sampling from ragtime, country, blues, jub band, hot jazz and delta blues traditions, they do everything from Lindy Hop dances to cowboy ballads to bootie-shakin’ dance parties. Nobody in the area plays more styles as well, in large part due to an incredible amount of combined musical experience.
Beergarden loves this band, and we are always happy to host them on our stage.
