OK, Boomer…(eye roll)… “Okay, Boomer” is typically used as a dismissive or sarcastic response to older people, particularly baby boomers, who are perceived as being out of touch with modern attitudes and culture.
Baby boomers, often shortened to boomers, are the demographic following the Silent Generation and preceding Generation X. This generation is often defined as people born from 1946 to 1964 during the mid-20th century baby boom.
Tonight’s your night, Boomers! This evening of trivia is brought to you by the creative and interesting mind of Mr. Ty Connor, our guest host for the evening.
All ages are welcome to participate, but the questions will be geared towards the years of the boomer.

von Trapp is a Vermont brewery that has just recently been introduced to Oregon.
For anyone who is not familiar with this brand, this is indeed the same von Trapp family from The Sound of Music. But besides that, this is a brewery that is making fantastic Austrian and German-style lagers.
2 reps from the brewery are coming to town to launch their brand and sample their products.
We'll have their Helles, Kolsch & Pilsner on tap.
Each year, the teams at beergarden and PublicHouse duke it out to see who drafted the best IPA. This year’s event will feature 4 categories of West Coast IPAs: Oregon, California, Washington and Wild Card. The Beer Teams choose the beers. Your vote decides the favorite.
The 3 week event features 4 blind flights of four, 2 flights at beergarden and 2 at PublicHouse, comprising the Sweet 16 IPAs. The four corners of the bracket represent the 4 Beer Buyers: Team Brianna and Deidre from beergarden & Team Dustin and Geo from PublicHouse. You’ll have two weeks to taste all 4 flights and cast your vote for the tastiest brews in a blind taste off from March 19th - March 31st.
The Final 4 will take place April 1st thru April 7th. The favorite IPAs from the original Sweet 16 will move on to the final 4. You’ll have that final week to try the final flight at either of the pubs and cast your vote. The votes will be tallied to reveal the winner on Monday, April 8th.
In addition to the fun of it, each time you complete a flight … you have an opportunity to win one of 2 raffle packages. Try all 5 flights, and you’ll have 5 chances to win excellent prizes including gift certificates to the pubs, food purveyors and merch from participating breweries.
The 4 Beer Buyer Teams have deciding which 16 IPAs will be included in this years’ competition. From this Sweet 16, each team will choose 4 IPAs to represent their corner.

We are stoked to have powerhouse and women-led Complicated rocking out on our stage again for our 2nd Annual MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.
Charming Tempest has been interested in using music to help people see situations from her perspective. From the time she first stepped onto a stage, with her dad accompanying her on the piano; to her debut album, "Sight", this singer songwriter, who is completely blind, uses her unique voice and honest lyrics to express sorrow and joy as she sees them. We look forward to having Charming Tempest join us as part of MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.
We are so excited to welcome Maya Vagner to our stage as one of our artists for MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
Maya is a singer / songwriter from Eugene, Oregon.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge
When a softly spoken singer-songwriter with guitar in hand lists Ani Difranco as one of her primary influences; describes her music as “rooted in blues;” shreds her ‘good girl image’ and starts experimenting with the succulent sounds of electronic strings, synths, trip-hop and dance beats, you know you’re in for an interesting listen! We are so pleased that Laura Ivancie took our invitation to join us for the 2nd year in a row at MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.
We are so excited to have Dianella kick off music for MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
A classical violinist turned rock vocalist with her head stuck in the clouds, Dianella delivers songs of imaginative and inquisitive lyrics driven by compelling rhythms. This pop fusion is merged together by a traditional rhythm section and a classical string trio. Conducted by her powerful voice and warm energy, the result is electric.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.
Matti Joy is a folk singer who acts as a voice for the outdoors, education, and mental health. Her songwriting and performances speak to the power of place and the way community can meaningfully change how people interact and support each other. We are stoked to have Matti kicking off another MUSE: A Celebration of Women.
As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.
What does it mean to be called a ‘Muse”?
As a noun, it means a person — especially a woman — who is a source of artistic inspiration. It seems like the perfect word to encompass our 2nd Annual Celebration of Women.
March 8 has been recognized as International Women’s Day since the early 1900’s. International Women's Day celebrates women's achievements in the workplace, and we’ve teamed up with PublicHouse to amplify and acknowledge the inspirational women in our lives, behind our pubs, creating our beer & spirits, feeding us and performing on our stage.
Live Musical Performances & Events: Prior to 1900 and even after, it was expected that "women would perform music, not make music.” Singing was something of an acceptable pastime for a girl, but playing an instrument….?! Writing songs? Producing records? It wasn’t a thing and, for the most part, women didn’t think of themselves as creators of music. So much has changed. So much will continue to change. Both pubs will be showcasing women-led performances and events throughout the five days, including:

This Eugene Beer Week beergarden celebrates 8 years and is excited to be working with Alesong Brewing & Blending on a week long Pairing and Tasting event.
Our beergarden beer buyer, Brianna Gordon, as been working with Alesong on this event since last year. When Alesong founder, Matt Van Wyk, suggested doing a Pairing and Tasting event, everyone was all about it!
6 Alesong brews were chosen- one for each of the food carts at beergarden, and we called a tasting meeting to start putting it together. The food vendors chose their pairing beers, and we cannot wait to see what each of them comes up with.
Pizza Alta will be pairing their Sausage, Gruyere, Broccolini with olive oil base pizza with Alesong’s Maestro, an English-Style Barleywine Aged in freshly-emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrels
Coco Loco will be pairing their Bacon loaded fries and homemade flan with Alesong’s Senior Rhino, a decadent imperial milk stout inspired by the flavors of a Mexican hot chocolate
Lani Moku Grill will be pairing their Lani Burger topped with brown butter miso aioli, caramelized onion, crunchy lettuce and tsukemono with the Alesong / BG Anniversary Collaboration ale, the BG Bramble, a gin barrel-aged blackberry sour
Nosh will be pairing their Hummus plate with prosciutto and cheese with Alesong’s Rolling Mist, a dark farmhouse ale aged on spruce tip
Moi Poki will be pairing their Lobster Poke Bomb (lobster, bacon, avocado) with Alesong’s Valley Preserves, a jammy sour ale
