Bongolatte is a high-energy band blending Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian rhythms into a vibrant musical experience. The group was founded on California’s Mendocino Coast by pianist and bassist duo Dorian and Dorothea May, alongside dance teacher and percussionist Chad Swimmer. They quickly became local favorites, packing the Headlands Coffeehouse for First Fridays and performing at the prestigious Sequoia Room, wineries, art galleries, and Latin dance events. We are STOKED to have them on our stage!
