5th Annual Oktoberfest

In Munich, Oktoberfest runs from September 21st through October 6th. In honor of this tradition, Beergarden’s Oktoberfest celebration will run the same dates. We may not know the ins and outs of all the German traditions, but we do know German beer! Each day of this event will feature a different brewery and host festive activities and live music. All 5 of the food trucks will be featuring German-inspired dishes. It will be over 2 weeks of jam-packed Oktoberfest festivities.

Each year beergarden makes commemorative glassware for our Oktoberfest celebration.  In years past we’ve had 1/2 liter to full liter clear glass steins and boots. For the 5th Annual Oktoberfest we will carry commemorative ceramic steins while supplies last. Buy it full of your favorite Oktoberfest beer or just buy the stein.

Munich traditionally kicks off Oktoberfest with the mayor pouring the first pint to open the festival. To honor this tradition, City Councilor Claire Syrett will pour the first pint at 5pm on Saturday, September 21st.

Food Specials during Oktoberfest will include:

  • Moi Poki- Hot Crab Beer Cheese Dip with Bavarian Pretzels.

ZUHG

ZuhG. ZuhG? Whats a ZuhG?

ZuhG means to be unlike others....
ZuhG is a band....
ZuhG is free-thinking, different, and playful....

Ask any member of the Band ZuhG this question, you will get a different response every time. Musically ZuhG resists being easily defined: Mixing funk, reggae, jazz, jam, and rock n' roll together to create its own expressive genre of music. ZuhG's sound will push your perceptions of music to new height. Starting out of Sacramento California in 2007, ZuhG has been busy carving out its own unique territory across the Pacific Northwest and on the road touring nationally. ZuhG now calls Lincoln City, Oregon home and splits its time between Cali and the Oregon coast.

-ZuhG is to be unlike others.

Men From S.U.R.F

The Men from S.U.R.F. have only native music of California burned into their DNA. Countless teen-age hours spent playing the songs of The Ventures, Dick Dale, The Belairs, Jan & Dean, and of course, The Beach Boys, have etched this music into their collective souls. The Men from S.U.R.F. also play tunes from bands like Los Straightjackets, Jimmy Buffett, Eddie and the Showmen and in original surf style music from The Men from S.U.R.F.
